Caneyville Community Theater is a Christian community theater group that brings our faith-based values into our family-friendly performances of classic theatrical works with a multigenerational volunteer cast and crew. Our team at Caneyville Community Theater is a passionate group of individuals dedicated to creating exceptional theatrical experiences. From performers to crew members, everyone plays a crucial role in bringing our productions to life. Get to know the talented and hardworking individuals who make up our theater family.

Jeff Armstrong
Jeff is from Leitchfield, KY, and recently portrayed Eric Pavey in the film “I Can”(2023). Jeff has also appeared onscreen in the films “Unconditional” (2018), “StoryGive: Every Two Minutes” (2019), and the series “The Dream Motel” (2019) and “Homicide Hunter” (2017). Jeff has performed or directed/co-directed several shows (Daddy Took the T-Bird Away, Down in HooDoo Holler, LARD, Doc Brown) at the Pine Knob Theater productions near Caneyville, KY He has also performed in The Odd Couple, Days of Wine and Roses, Guys and Dolls as Sky Masterson, and is currently working on the 2010 Broadway play as Mark Rothko under the direction of John Lee Cope.

Nichole Peters
Nichole is a lifelong resident of the Caneyville community. She has taught choir, orchestra, and band over the years but currently teaches visual and performing arts at Caneyville Elementary where she has worked for the last 18 years. Nichole has directed several theater productions at the school (Magic Tree House Series: Pirates Past Noon, Annie, Guys and Dolls Jr., Go West, Pirates: The Musical, Lewis and Clark, Twas One Crazy Night Before Christmas). She has also portrayed Mary, mother of Jesus, and assisted with music in the Caneyville Community Easter Cantata for several years. Nichole is so excited to take her desire for the arts and create an outlet for the local community and surrounding areas by founding the Caneyville Community Theater.
